Out & about - Easter 2017

I get to stay in great houses with gorgeous pets. I absolutely love my house-sitting life as it suits me right down to the ground and appeases my gypsy spirit. I do lots of repeat sits which I adore as I get to see my pseudo pets again but every now and then I discover places which were always right on my doorstep. I had heard of Bayview and Church Point but never made that turn at Mona Vale. Boy...what a gorgeous spot. Loving this Easter long weekend :)

Olive

Well. I knew I also had a cat to care for at my sit in Mosman. The thing is...I never saw her in daylight! Yes. The first time Olive decided to show her face was when I woke up in the middle of the night with her laying on me...the cheek! She made a habit of appearing after dark, unless it was raining of course and then she would deign it necessary to make an early appearance to escape the drenching. She would then meow loudly until I came up to bed and proceed to make me her claw cushion. In the hour before dawn, she would be gone to do whatever-cats-do-in-daylight-hours type of things.

She is your true example of cupboard (or should that be...pin cushion) love.

I didn't mind. She is a character and a half.

Parklife

One of the many perks of house and pet sitting is, along with meeting new furry friends, you get to find new places of interest you may never have stumbled across in another life. With this sit in Mosman, Honey (the sweetie I am looking after at the moment) and I looked up a local dog park and set off in my trusty little hatchback. Well.... this pooch park is stunning!! Set between some craggy cliffs and the water, it is three soccer fields of lush, green grass just perfect to get some lawn between your toes. To top it all off, at the far end is a community artist's studio that I would never have known of any other way.
Lots of places to discover...just grab a lead, a willing walking companion and off you go. The. Best. Pooch. Park... (I think anyways :)

ps. nearly forgot in all my effusiveness...it is Primrose Park, Mosman
